This will be a time of fun and learning a new language. At first, I will introduce American Sign Language (ASL). Students will be exposed to basic language through: introductions, basic colors, family and more. It is primarily survival level skills. The course includes continued development of expressive and receptive skills while minimal simple conversational signing skills are emphasized through interactive exercises. Playing their own acoustic instruments and joined by other band members, The Isaacs have a unique style that blends tight, family harmony with contemporary acoustic instrumentation that appeals to a variety of audiences. Their musical influences emerge from all genres of music including bluegrass, rhythm and blues, folk, and county, contemporary acoustic, and southern gospel. They perform frequently at the Grand Ole Opry, are active members on the Gaither Homecoming Concert Series, and travel throughout the year internationally and across the United States, including a recent performance at Carnegie Hall which received a standing ovation.
