It’s hard to believe another summer has come and almost passed. The kids are back in school and the days are ending a little earlier. There is a bit of a chill making its way into the early morning hours. From a distance, Friday night comes alive as the cheers and the band can be heard for miles away from Franklin High School, as the Panthers football team fights hard to score another victory.
Soon, the leaves will begin their annual color transformation. This year’s forecast is calling for another brilliant show, one that may last into November. Pickin’ On The Square is still going strong every Saturday evening downtown, with performances going on through October, there’s always something for everyone to enjoy. Downtown Franklin has gone through quite a transformation over the last year, one that has brought new life and a new feel to this small town of ours. There’s more to do and see, but with the same small town hospitality that makes Franklin such a great place to visit year round.
