It’s hard to believe that we’re in our seventh year of the Mountain High BBQ Festival & Car Show! Over the years, we’ve had some fantastic competitors, top flight entertainment and some of the coolest rods’ in the mountains show up and take part in each of our festivals. This year is no different! So it’s time to stand back and let the mouth watering BBQ do the talking and give you this years schedule and events that will be happening this Friday and Saturday at the Wayne Proffitt Agricultural Center at the Macon County Fairgrounds.

Admission: Adult: $5 one day; $8 for both days, Children 12 & under Free
Enter after 5 pm on Friday and receive Saturday’s admission FREE

Best Burger in Town Grill-Off
3 Heats: Friday at 5 pm, Saturday at 10 am and 1 pm
Championship Grill-Off: Saturday at 4 pm.
We furnish the gas grills, you bring your ingredients, you’ll have 35 minutes to prepare, grill and plate your burger for the judges. Winner takes home $250 and bragging rights! Pre-registration is required.

Saturday 3 pm – $5 with paid admission. Remember, ONLY 200 tickets will be sold to taste and judge cookers BBQ pork. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance once the festival opens or at the chamber until Thursday, August 6.
