Franklin’s Annual Christmas Parade

The Sunday after Thanksgiving holds a long standing tradition here in Franklin, one that will thankfully carry on this year. Franklin’s Annual Christmas Parade will be held as planned on Sunday November 27th at 3:00 PM through historic downtown Franklin. The parade will begin from Town Hall and move down Main Street as in years past, turning left at the Lazy Hiker Brewing Company onto Porter Street.  It will then turn left onto Palmer Street and continue to the Highlands Road Intersection.

An Annual Tradition in Franklin

The parade also falls on the day after Franklin’s first Winter Wonderland Celebration, that together with the parade, officially ring in the holiday season! We’re looking forward to another fantastic parade and hope you’ll be able to join us for one of our most popular events of the year. Don’t forget to bring your Wish List… you never know who you might run into at the parade….

Santa

We are excited to announce this year’s Grand Marshall will be Rose Clark, the oldest know living Maconian. Rose was born in February, 1911 and celebrated her 105th birthday this year. Rose is the last of eleven children born to Oscar and Julia Arnold, and the wife of the late Wiley Clark, as well as, mother to Kenneth, Doyle and Gary Clark. Join us in honoring Rose at the parade and enjoy the feeling of community and fellowship with our local organizations, businesses, and leadership.
