The Sunday after Thanksgiving holds a long standing tradition here in Franklin, one that will thankfully carry on this year. Franklin’s 2017 Christmas Parade will be held as planned on Sunday November 26th at 3:00 PM through historic downtown Franklin. The parade will begin from Town Hall and move down Main Street as in years past, turning left at the Lazy Hiker Brewing Company onto Porter Street.  It will then turn left onto Palmer Street and continue to the Depot Street intersection.

This year’s theme for the Christmas Parade is “A Season For Giving”. We are proud to honor Patrick Jenkins as this year’s Grand Marshall. Jenkins donates many hours of volunteering throughout our community. In addition to being the driving force behind the “Cold for a Cause” donation drive, Jenkins also volunteers throughout the community such as pressure washing the two shelters on the Greenway, upkeep to the new boat ramp along the Little Tennessee River and Greenway, joined volunteers to mow the Woodlawn Cemetery and random yard mowing and leaf blowing for people that need assistance. Thank you Patrick for all you do for our community.

We look forward to seeing you this holiday season!
