It’s the time of year when we gather with family and friends, whether we travel a long distance, just around the corner, or stay at home and are the host, we cherish the time we have and celebrate another year and all we’re thankful for.

The Franklin, NC Chamber of Commerce would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to all of our members, their families and employees, and wish you all a very happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Don’t forget that this Saturday in historic downtown Franklin, Winter Wonderland will have its first of two evenings on Main Street from 5 PM to 8 PM. It’s Small Town Saturday, so don’t forget to support you local small town businesses! The annual Christmas Tree lighting will take place this Saturday, followed by a candlelight service in front of the courthouse in town square.

Lastly, on Sunday, the annual Christmas parade starts at 3 PM from Town Hall on Main Street, then loops around Lazy Hiker Brewery and back down Palmer Street.

It’s going to be a fun-filled, family friendly weekend here in Franklin, we hope you’re able to come out and enjoy a little bit of the small town spirit that makes Franklin, NC a wonderful place to visit, and an even better place to live!
