It’s waterfall Wednesday, and there’s no mistaking the sights and sounds of our natural wonders! The unseasonably warm weather we’ve been having lately has us thinking about how Spring is just around the corner with Summer not far behind. Dry Falls is one of the most popular waterfalls in Western North Carolina, falling 65′ from the top down into the pool below. The Cullasaja River runs alongside US 64 with many smaller, unnamed falls winding their way down to Cullasaja Falls, the 250′ giant falls that plummet into the Cullasaja Gorge.
Take some time to plan a trip up US 64 out of Franklin and listen to a little bit of the “original rock music”. For more information on our area waterfalls, follow the link below!
